Privacy Policy

This policy explains which personal data Lucelabs processes when you visit our website, use an account or chat with a Lucelabs assistant. It is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).

Where your data is
The website and database run at itship GmbH on servers in Switzerland. The AI that writes the assistants' answers runs at Infomaniak Network SA in Geneva. According to Infomaniak, the requests are neither stored there nor used to train AI models.

Visiting the website
We count visits without cookies and without external services: we store the page visited, the website you came from and the device type (computer, tablet, phone). Your IP address is not stored. So that a visit counts only once, we create a non-reversible code from IP address, browser and a random key that changes every day; this code is deleted after two days at most. If your browser sends "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control", you are not counted. In addition, our host keeps technical server logs for secure operation.

Contact
When you write to us via the form or by email, we process your name, email address and message to answer your enquiry. These messages are delivered to our mailbox at Microsoft (Microsoft 365).

Customer account
For an account we store your name, email address, an encrypted password (hash), company details and the settings of your assistants. Emails from the platform (e.g. for activation) are sent via a mail server in Switzerland.

Conversations with assistants
When you chat with a Lucelabs assistant (e.g. Atlas on this website or a customer's assistant), your messages are sent to Infomaniak's AI to create the answer and are stored together with the answer in our database in Switzerland, so that the operator of the assistant can see statistics and unanswered questions. Please do not enter sensitive personal data in the chat. On a customer's website, that customer is responsible for the processing; Lucelabs processes the data on their behalf.

Payments
If you take out a subscription, payment is handled by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., Ireland). Stripe may also process data in the USA. We do not receive card details.

Cookies
We only use necessary cookies: for signing in, the chosen language and display, and your cookie setting. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

Retention
We keep contact enquiries as long as needed to handle them. Account data and conversations are kept as long as the account exists; on request we delete them earlier, unless a legal obligation prevents it.

Your rights
You can ask for information about your data and have it corrected or deleted. Write to jessie@matti.swiss.

Changes
We update this policy when our processing changes. The version published here applies.
